OUR COMPLEX AND AMAZING BODIES

We have spoken before in our blogs regarding how complex and amazing the human body is and how one person’s pain and injury is not the same as the next persons.  Unfortunately our musculoskeletal system is prone to injuries that then undergo a repair cycle and the repair process is not always perfect leading to chronic pain or an injury that will not resolve, thus inhibiting us from our sport or activity that we like to engage in to keep ourselves fit.

Unfortunately, many people try to push through pain or rehabilitate their injuries on their own which can sometimes lead to worsening pathology and pain.  Listening to our bodies is crucial regarding when to keep exercising or playing our sport versus giving it some additional time for this repair process to happen.

If you are ever unsure regarding whether you should be working out or continuing to play your sport, please see us for a consultation.  Oftentimes we can keep patients active with conservative measures without having to stop all activity or having to immediately move towards injection procedures.

If you are still having pain, then we can explore Orthobiologic procedures with you in an effort to promote the natural healing process that typically occurs after an initial injury.  Our bodies are amazing and contain powerful cells to help repair injuries.  This is why we are so passionate about Orthobiologic procedures as we are utilizing a natural approach to help promote your recovery.  Let us know how we can help.

Stay well and stay active.
